After several months of stalled sales due to the coronavirus, Hemp, Inc proudly pronounced that sales for their premium hemp flower is now over $1 million this year.
The company published sales numbers of $1,035,817.04, an increase of $55,000 from their last reported numbers. Of those numbers, $265,200 was from the first quarter of this year, and $770,617.04 is from the second quarter so far. With sales expanding week by week, the company hopes to break milestones like $1,000,000 per week.
The high ticket hemp flower they are selling is the reason for these numbers. Their bio-diverse hemp products like Pre-98 OG Bubba Kush are popular. The company also produces hemps for bioplastics and Lost Circulation Material.
Bruce Perlowin, the company’s CEO, was frustrated during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, but is optimistic to see the company chugging full speed ahead.
“Our Pre-98 OG Bubba Kush hemp flower is exploding. We’re in full swing and are on track to be able to sell our King of Hemp™ pre-rolls in all 50 states. We’re also beginning our mass marketing campaigns so I’m certain we will have revenue in the millions to report for the second quarter and beyond. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if we hit $1,000,000 weekly. It’s definitely possible,” Perlowin said in a press release.
Hemp Inc, has processing facilities on both coasts, along with farms and retail locations scattered across the country. However, the majority of their energy has been focused on producing high CBD hemp flower with impeccable quality standards. They believe that their grade A flower will reach 20% CBD, with the rest of their flower being used in their pre-roll line.
Hemp Inc, boasts some of the highest quality colas available. A cola is a cluster of buds that grow tightly together, at the flowering site of the plant. Factors like the soil, climate, strain, and knowledge they are bringing to the table all add up to a better tasting final product.
“The climate in Oregon, the farmers’ capacity to grow, and their application of skillful hemp farming methods has put Hemp, Inc. in the position to make some of the best quality colas from one of the top cultivars available on the market,” said Perlowin. “The fact that we have sold so much of it and have surpassed $1 million in sales, faster than the blink of an eye, off the buds alone illustrates the demand for high quality hemp. We are proud of the A and B colas from the Pre-98 OG Bubba Kush, so much so that we are excited to use the same buds in our inaugural batch of King of Hemp™ pre-rolls.”
