Connecticut based Harbor Hemp Company announced that the brand is launching a new line of CBD seltzer to its bustling product line.
Calm Seas Seltzer is a non-alcoholic coming in flavors like black cherry. Each 16 oz. can contains 26 mg of CBD, and a four-pack is selling in stores for $16.
“Our customers have been requesting a non-alcoholic CBD-infused seltzer and we were ready to answer that call with a great tasting beverage with 26 mg of CBD per can.” Glen Boggini, co-owner of Harbor Hemp Company, said in a press release.
Developed in their Connecticut headquarters, the line of seltzer takes advantage of the 80 years that the owning family has been in the beverage industry. Harbor hemp was the one of the first CBD facilities in the state to be Current Good Manufacturing (cGMP) certified. The CBD is added to the drink using a proprietary water-soluble nanoemulsion to bring a higher quality seltzer to the market.
“Leveraging our experiences with beverages, our grandfather taught us to always source the best ingredients and that’s why we only use hemp that is US grown, non-GMO and pesticide-free,” said David Boggini, also a Co-Owner of Harbor Hemp.
The new line of products was initially put on hold as the company shifted to help manufacture much-needed hand sanitizer. The initial batches of the sanitizer were donated to first responders, but Harbor Hemp is now selling the 80% alcohol sanitizer online and at select retailers.
