Toronto producer Pure Global Cannabis has announced plans to grow 17,000 acres of hemp in China. They plan to plant the hemp in Yunnan province in the Southwest of the country. The operation will be through KMT-Hansa Corp, a technology company with headquarters in Anguilla. KMT has a license to grow and process hemp in China.
The hemp will be exported and sold in Asian markets where CBD products are legal. The terms of the agreement were not released. They did not state when they planned to plant the hemp or when it would be harvested, and the CBD would be available for sale.
