Quebec based Neptune Wellness Solutions has appointed Eric Gharakhanian as the new director of product development. The newcomer previously worked for Clorox as a product development lead.
The company’s line of health and wellness products will be spearheaded by Gharakhanian, who is already familiar with competing at the highest levels in the personal and home care sectors. At least one of the products will seem very familiar to the new lead, a line of sustainable, natural, plant-based sanitizing wipes.
“I strongly value health and meaningful environmental sustainability and strive to align these values with the work I do in order to do my part to positively impact this world,” said Gharakhanian.
Gharakhanian’s background is in organic chemistry. He used his expertise at The Clorox Co. to help launch four new products and file three new patents. He was responsible for developing and maintaining other products and brands for the company and served as the scientific expert for seven different products for Clorox.
“I am very pleased to welcome Eric to Neptune to accelerate our product and brand development portfolio in order to meet strong consumer and retailer demand for high-quality personal and home care products,” said CEO of Neptune Wellness Solutions, Michael Cammarata. “Eric’s scientific and technical expertise, combined with his experience at Clorox will make significant contributions to Neptune’s product innovation pipeline and retailer relationships as we scale our product reach and distribution nationally in the U.S.”
