Although Elon Musk knows a thing or two about electronic automobiles and rockets, he recently touched on a grey area regarding marijuana during a podcaster interview with Joe Rogan; stating that cannabidiol CBD is fraudulent.
He believes that non-intoxicating cannabinoids do not exist. The tech guru said that he feels the commodity is overrated and doesn’t yield any effects. However, Rogan said a lot about CBD merits to counter.
The discussion erupted when Rogan and Elon started reminiscing about an earlier 2018 podcast show, where the Tesla and SpaceX CEO inhaled a cannabis blunt he later denied the occurrence, due to NASA’s investigation over his aerospace firm’s compliance with drug-free environment and workplace safety regulations.
This comes after Rogan moved his podcast headquarters to Texas from California. He pointed out that his new home-state hasn’t decriminalized cannabis, however, it has authorized cannabidiol.
Musk posed whether CBD offers any effect, adding that it’s fake.
Rogan instantly gave Elon an outline in multiple therapeutic CBD merits that have been highlighted in an ever-growing scientific literature body. He asserted that it assists people with sleeping issues, particularly when merged with substances such as melatonin. He emphasized that CBD isn’t intoxicating and people mix THC with CBD for muscle lotions and creams.
Rogan pointed out that CBD is an effective treatment for people suffering from arthritis and reprieves anxiety.
Elon may not support CBD, however, he enjoys having a cannabis culture sometimes.
When Tesla’s shares hit USD420, for instance, he said on social media that the stock was so high with laughing crying emojis.420 is famous among cannabis enthusiasts since it connotes the informal marijuana holiday 4/20( April 20th).
Musk fell into trouble with the SEC( Securities and Exchange Commission) two years ago when he asserted that he was considering moving Tesla at a $420 private share price. SEC described the statement as misleading and false.
