On Monday, Muur Photon submitted the lawsuit in the California Superior Court within Los Angeles County. Rokni S. Shawn from West Coast Trial Lawyers APLC, said that Gregorich fired his gun with the thought that Harris was stealing from him when he went towards the vehicle,
The report reads that David has pleaded not culpable for the murder, attempted murder and shooting at a residential building.
According to the lawsuit, Universal Stop and Weedmaps knew that Gregorich took weapons during his marijuana door-to-door deliveries and the organizations failed to offer sufficient training and supervision about the use of guns in cannabis deliveries. The lawsuit also claims the firms should’ve prevented the delivery from taking place since Harris was below the authorized age to buy marijuana in California.
Based on the court paperwork, The suit argues that since Gregorich had prior felony convictions, Universal Stop and Weedmaps should have been cautious about the driver because of his aggressive behaviour and predisposition to hurt others.
Other entities featured in the lawsuit include Movses Movsisyan, owner of Universal Stop, WM Holding Company LLC, Weedmaps Media LLC and Ghost Management Group LLC. These are the parent companies of Weedmaps.
The court documents also state that the lawsuit seeks compensation for claims of assault, battery, negligence and wrongful demise against the defendants. Universal Stop and Weedmaps have additionally been accused of negligent recruitment, supervision and retention.
